The guys at Lammidia have to be among the most exciting winemakers in Italy right now, smashing norms and just doing shit their own way. The Rosh is one of those delving kind of wines, you think you know exactly what it is at first and then it just keeps going and ends up in a completely place to where you though that journey was headed. 

It's Montepulciano with a bit of Trebbiano blended in just to brighten it up and bring another element to play...

This is Tim's third vintage of Fiano from this Heathcote vineyard and ,whilst previous years have been decent little wines, the 2018 makes it obvious that he has become distinctly familiar with the vineyard and its fruit. Taking a slower approach with getting it out and letting it take its time to develop both in barrel and bottle.

Absolutely shining through with texture, a seductive fullness and zapping, crunchy acidity he's just completely nailed this.
