If there's a true rock n' roller in Beaujolais today it has got to be Pierre Cotton. With his family boasting a succession of five generations of winemakers going back to 1856, Pierre just straight up went and became a motorcycle mechanic, cos well...you can't tell him what to do. When it came to putting his hand to wine this attitude very much carried on. Taking a different direction to the more traditional practices of the family Domaine Sanvers et Cotton, Pierre found and then intensely pursued a passion for organic practices and a strict natural approach in the winery. This dudejolais now has small plantings in Brouilly, Cote de Brouilly, Regnie and Beaujolais to which he tends with the utmost love and attention.
